AQUAFAST SBR CONSTRUCTION (pro SBR) is a water-based non-ionically stabilised
hydrolysis-resistant dispersion of a carboxylated styrene-butadiene copolymer. The dispersion
is freeze-thaw stable. It contains an antioxidant and an antifoam and is compatible with most
hydraulic binders. This product is free from APEOs and ammonia.
Application Areas
- AQUAFAST SBR CONSTRUCTION (PRO SBR) is used for modification of hydraulic binders in common applications, including repair mortar, flooring, rendering, bonding, and mineral sealing.
- Slurries and as a cement-based adhesive.
- At higher temperatures (25 °C), the addition of AQUAFAST SBR CONSTRUCTION (PRO SBR) prevents a premature stiffening of the mortar.
- The dispersion is free from plasticiser and other additives which can migrate.
